Allah in the name of the most Affectionate the Merciful. | بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ |
1. By those who drag forth souls vehemently, | 1. وَ النّٰزِعٰتِ غَرْقًاۙ۱ |
2. And those who release knots gently. | 2. وَّ النّٰشِطٰتِ نَشْطًاۙ۲ |
3. By those who swim easily. | 3. وَّ السّٰبِحٰتِ سَبْحًاۙ۳ |
4. Then they reach soon by advancing. | 4. فَالسّٰبِقٰتِ سَبْقًاۙ۴ |
5. Then they manage the affairs. | 5. فَالْمُدَبِّرٰتِ اَمْرًاۘ۵ |
6. The infidels shall necessarily be chastised on the Day when the shivering one will shiver. | 6. یَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ الرَّاجِفَةُۙ۶ |
7. And there will follow it the following one. | 7. تَتْبَعُهَا الرَّادِفَةُؕ۷ |
8. How many hearts will be throbbing that Day? | 8. قُلُوْبٌ یَّوْمَىِٕذٍ وَّاجِفَةٌۙ۸ |
9. They will not be able to lift up their eyes. | 9. اَبْصَارُهَا خَاشِعَةٌۘ۹ |
10. The infidels say. "shall we really be restored to our former state"? | 10. یَقُوْلُوْنَ ءَاِنَّا لَمَرْدُوْدُوْنَ فِی الْحَافِرَةِؕ۱۰ |
11. What' even when we shall be rotten bones" | 11. ءَاِذَا كُنَّا عِظَامًا نَّخِرَةًؕ۱۱ |
12. They said, such returning back is indeed a total loss. | 12. قَالُوْا تِلْكَ اِذًا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٌۘ۱۲ |
13. That is not but a mere scolding. | 13. فَاِنَّمَا هِیَ زَجْرَةٌ وَّاحِدَةٌۙ۱۳ |
14. Henceforth they shall he lying in an open ground. | 14. فَاِذَا هُمْ بِالسَّاهِرَةِؕ۱۴ |
15. Have you received the news of Musa. | 15. هَلْ اَتٰىكَ حَدِیْثُ مُوْسٰىۘ۱۵ |
16. When his Lord called to him in the holy valley Towa; | 16. اِذْ نَادٰىهُ رَبُّهٗ بِالْوَادِ الْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًىۚ۱۶ |
17. Go to Firawn; he has rebelled. | 17. اِذْهَبْ اِلٰى فِرْعَوْنَ اِنَّهٗ طَغٰى٘ۖ۱۷ |
18. And say to him Have you any liking to purify yourself? | 18. فَقُلْ هَلْ لَّكَ اِلٰۤى اَنْ تَزَكّٰىۙ۱۸ |
19. And that I should guide you to your Lord so that you may fear Him. | 19. وَ اَهْدِیَكَ اِلٰى رَبِّكَ فَتَخْشٰىۚ۱۹ |
20. Then Musa showed him a great sign. | 20. فَاَرٰىهُ الْاٰیَةَ الْكُبْرٰى٘ۖ۲۰ |
21. But he belied him and disobeyed. | 21. فَكَذَّبَ وَعَصٰى٘ۖ۲۱ |
22. Then he gave his back to him. striving against him. | 22. ثُمَّ اَدْبَرَ یَسْعٰى٘ۖ۲۲ |
23. Then he gathered his people and proclaimed. | 23. فَحَشَرَ فَنَادٰى٘ۖ۲۳ |
24. And said, 'I am your Lord, the Most High'. | 24. فَقَالَ اَنَا رَبُّكُمُ الْاَعْلٰى٘ۖ۲۴ |
25. Therefore, Allah seized him for the torment of the present world and the Hereafter both. | 25. فَاَخَذَهُ اللّٰهُ نَكَالَ الْاٰخِرَةِ وَ الْاُوْلٰىؕ۲۵ |
26. Undoubtedly, there is in it a lesson for him who fears. | 26. اِنَّ فِیْ ذٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِّمَنْ یَّخْشٰى٢ؕ۠۲۶ |
27. Whether according to your wisdom, the creation of yours is difficult or the heaven that He has built? | 27. ءَاَنْتُمْ اَشَدُّ خَلْقًا اَمِ السَّمَآءُ١ؕ بَنٰىهَاٙ۲۷ |
28. He has raised high its vault and made it perfect. | 28. رَفَعَ سَمْكَهَا فَسَوّٰىهَاۙ۲۸ |
29. And He has made its night dark and its sunshine bright. | 29. وَ اَغْطَشَ لَیْلَهَا وَ اَخْرَجَ ضُحٰىهَا۪۲۹ |
30. And after that, he spread out the earth. | 30. وَ الْاَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذٰلِكَ دَحٰىهَاؕ۳۰ |
31. He brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture. | 31. اَخْرَجَ مِنْهَا مَآءَهَا وَ مَرْعٰىهَا۪۳۱ |
32. And set firmly the mountains; | 32. وَ الْجِبَالَ اَرْسٰىهَاۙ۳۲ |
33. For your benefit and for your cattle. | 33. مَتَاعًا لَّكُمْ وَ لِاَنْعَامِكُمْؕ۳۳ |
34. But when the biggest calamity will come. | 34. فَاِذَا جَآءَتِ الطَّآمَّةُ الْكُبْرٰى٘ۖ۳۴ |
35. That day when man will call to mind all that he strove for. | 35. یَوْمَ یَتَذَكَّرُ الْاِنْسَانُ مَا سَعٰىۙ۳۵ |
36. And the Hell will be made manifest to him who sees. | 36. وَ بُرِّزَتِ الْجَحِیْمُ لِمَنْ یَّرٰى۳۶ |
37. Then as for him who rebelled; | 37. فَاَمَّا مَنْ طَغٰىۙ۳۷ |
38. And preferred the life of this world, | 38. وَ اٰثَرَ الْحَیٰوةَ الدُّنْیَاۙ۳۸ |
39. Then undoubtedly, the hell his destination. | 39. فَاِنَّ الْجَحِیْمَ هِیَ الْمَاْوٰىؕ۳۹ |
40. But as to him who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained his soul from evil desires; | 40. وَ اَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهٖ وَ نَهَى النَّفْسَ عَنِ الْهَوٰىۙ۴۰ |
41. Then undoubtedly, the Paradise is his destination. | 41. فَاِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ هِیَ الْمَاْوٰىؕ۴۱ |
42. They ask you concerning the Hour; when it is destined to come? | 42. یَسْـَٔلُوْنَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ اَیَّانَ مُرْسٰىهَاؕ۴۲ |
43. But what you are to do with its mentioning? | 43. فِیْمَ اَنْتَ مِنْ ذِكْرٰىهَاؕ۴۳ |
44. Towards your Lord is its ultimate end. | 44. اِلٰى رَبِّكَ مُنْتَهٰىهَاؕ۴۴ |
45. You are only a warner to him who fears it. | 45. اِنَّمَاۤ اَنْتَ مُنْذِرُ مَنْ یَّخْشٰىهَاؕ۴۵ |
46. It shall be as if, on the day when they will see it, they had not tarried in the world but an evening or the rising of the sun. | 46. كَاَنَّهُمْ یَوْمَ یَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ یَلْبَثُوْۤا اِلَّا عَشِیَّةً اَوْ ضُحٰىهَا۠۴۶ |
